Srinagar, Sep 06 (KNO): The family members of a teenager who was stabbed to death by his friend in Srinagar's Dalgate, on Saturday afternoon demanded strict action against the accused and also closure of Chinar Bagh Park, located in the vicinity. “We demand the death penalty against the accused person who stabbed our son to death. Today it was my son, and tomorrow it can be someone else,” said Burhan's mother, while speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). Burhan was stabbed to death on Saturday here by a juvenile, who has been arrested in a swift action by the police. “We also demand the closure of Chinar Bagh park situated in Dalgate, as this park is a hub of drugs, liquor, gambling and other immoral activities, and if it gets closed, perhaps, another possible untoward incident can be prevented,” added Burhan's mother—(KNO)
